Title: Cross compatible parts between PSP 1000 and 2000

I was wondering if the cap from a PSP 2000 analog stick will fit onto the base of a 1000 analog. Also if PSP 2000 shoulder buttons will fit with a 1000 shell.

so what you are saying is that if i had a psp 2000 and a shell/faceplate of a psp 1000 i could not fit the buttons through the holes?
