Post by: Slim Hacker on August 24, 2009, 04:10:48 PM: Hey guys the other day I got the idea to cram my wireless mouse inside an altoids can, well I got it done it looks a little crappy tho and my cam decided to be bad quality today but here are some pics

Comment and im looking for another altoids case to refit it in but who knew altoids cans are so hard to find now :dntknw: .

Post by: Slim Hacker on August 24, 2009, 05:11:49 PM: The mouse mobo was actually smaller than the can O.o whick made it 100% easier to use, but i did solder a rechargeable battery to it and im working on getting a port to just plug it in to charge the battery using the hole in the front of the can as you can see in pic #3.

Also I got another wireless keyboard/mouse combo today and Im trying to think of some other ideas for it.

lol I thought of that before I even started and covered the inside of the can with electrical tape no probelems so far :)

What kind of battery does it use?.... you could charge the battery with a USB rigg if the battery is appx. 5V @ 250mA

It Would be Cool if it had a paintjob or a few LEDs. But the Lights will ruin the battery life.

Got the idea back when I was making some of those portable USB altoid tin chargers. Unfortunately, it was long ago replaced by my MX revolution and then my Razer Lachesis. :)
