i can not change it in this build case the power supply is a part of a "kit" and comes with all the other stuff ... but i will consider buying another one later... and ps: is there a risk of these crappy power supplies frying out something?

yes there is.... well not exactly fry out but they have high failure rates n other problems.....

Get a Tagan , Corsair or Antec supply while you are at it.
Swap it out in the case....

look at changing the case as well. budget caes such as the one you picked out are flimsy and poorly constructed

Get the Western Digital 1TB Black series instead. Choose another case and psu because Ultra isn't that good. Some brands I recommend getting for the PSU are Corsair, Antec, and PC Power & Cooling.

i know the hdd is still hitachi and psu is the craappy one but atleast the case is better.. or can anyone suggest me a confiuration please?

core i7, 12 gb ram, and a mid range gfx card like 260 gtx..

you can try and look here http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=333&name=Intel-Barebone& (http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=333&name=Intel-Barebone&)

theyre pretty good kits.. just the cases/psus suck for most of em..

thank you very much :)

btw please keep da price below 1500 including da monitor/kb/mouse and w/o tax or shipping... ..

no matter which way you cut it, that's not budget.

I was gonna say that, but he's also including a monitor + keyboard + mouse... £750 is about... $1200 USD? Something like that. Add $300ish for monitor, mouse, and keyboard and you're up to $1500. I guess if you REALLY look hard you could build one for... $1400, but $1200 is kinda low imo. I recently built a comparable computer, tad lower in processor specs (not an i7, not DDR3) and without monitor, keyboard, mouse, and not counting cost of the processor I came to about $700 USD.
