Ok i found this at my dad work (he fixes laptops) and i have know idea what it is. I would like to use it in my xbox or some thing cool. if u have any idea it would be awsome.

Its a wireless remote for controlling house fixtures.

it could possibly be used to remotely turn leds on/off??

thats what i was thinking like difernt modes sets of leds how woul i program it the pins on the side right?

could you get me a serial number?I'd really like to buy one of those.
You're going to have to figure out which way it's programmed,when you press a button a pin will go high/positively charged,so get a multimeter and analyse which pin goes when when you press a certain button on the remote.
You won't be able to totally reprogram it,the code is flashed in hex and you won't be able to reverse the code to a simpler programming language.

yea multimeter thats what i was thinking i am gona start working on this after i finsh my wheel. i did find this though www.e-madeinchn.com (http://) , it operates 5v thats all i could find out so far
