I just got an email from xbox live that my account has been suspended from xbox live for a week due to my bio!!!
what was in my bio????

Terms of service says they can ban your for any reason they want.

no different then putting your my space up or whatever....not all people mod thier consoles.. mine has never been opened. All admin have the site listed

they hung up on me,,, called back they gave me a supervisor, customer support cannot turn it back on only the modorators I have to petition thier forum to have it lifted. that is where I am going now.

here is my petition, we will see what they say:
I was banned today from xbox live. I received an email stating why, it was for my bio. we will get back to that..I called xbox live and they tell me the only thing I can do is post here...well when you are banned from xbox live you are banned from here also. I am using my wifes account, a second account I PAY for to write this. Have you ever seen anyone with myspace or face book in thier bio? They do this because it is something they enjoy and are passionate about. I am a Admin for acidmods.com which is a family oriented gaming forum. I personally as do my modorators spend alot of time to ensure there is no inapropriate material of any kind in our forum, this is due to the fact that we have many young children who frequent our site (a 15K member site) If I posted foul language or a link to some porn site, or anything else that may not be appropriate, I would not be writing this, and I would completly understand, heck, I would ban myself. If you were to look into our site, we tell members not to violate the terms of use, and state that they do so at thier own risk. I posted acidmods.com in my bio becouse like your myspace, or face book, this is something I am passionate about.
please tell me how I violated your terms of use, as I think this is very unjustified and feel my account should be reactivated. the XBL account in question is IFF Matt B

the word acid is a form of drug. so since ACIDmods was in your bio they thought you were talking about drugs that's why it probably got suspended. This is pretty common actually. One guy got banned for his last name (GAYwood). Just call them up and give tell them what happened and be done.

I called them on the phone for two hours got up to a supervisor. thedy cant change it... only the moderator forum can.

So they send you a message to your account, but you can't log into your account.

trust me, you guys know me LOL after what I have put them through if they could have turned it back on they would have lol. I ruined 3 peoples day at customer support. LOL

since this site does have guides and info about making controller mods its possible that they did actually check it out before they banned you. i used to get accused of having a mod all the time playing cod4 when i would shoot fast. so maybe people were reporting you for having a mod and they saw acidmods and didn't have any proof other than that. i was a founder of a glitching clan (GlCh ftw) and we found glitches other people didn't know about or extensions of glitches they did and i would get accused of "hacking" during private mike myers games with people who weren't in the clan, so if you were glitching or something maybe its all getting traced back to acidmods, and they think that's whats going on here so they ban you. still pretty sketchy and really gay, you should get a free month for sure.

I dont use rapid fire in game..and that is profiling...just because this site dicusses mods dosnt mean thats all we do, we discuss games and all other things related to gaming, my xbox is not baned and there is no way for them to know I have a modded controller.

they only offered a minimum contract of 12 months but i am a student and only living in the house for 8 months so got them to create and allow student to have short term 8 month contracts where previously no matter how many customer support people i talked to i was told that the min was 12 month then 3 days after my email all the staff received a memo telling them to allow 8 month minimum contracts for students

@ Budgrey - I'm just stating the facts.
Actually, a nice long but stuffed e-mail that's angry will get you somewhere. It worked for me when I was having issues with a software company that wouldn't accept my key. Kind words don't do much. I've found that using active voice and proper grammer/spelling gets you much further from personal experience.

i think i know why they banned it maybe after complaints they seen this maybe they said he was "hacking" and they seen the xbox 360 part of the site and was like ok and banned him

but again, microsoft really doesnt care. if there was any hint of modding, glitching, or anything that could possibly be related to hacking or cheating then they could see that and call it hacking, whether it actually is or not. microsoft makes the rules unfortunately. so still no luck getting unbanned? at least you get to play again eventually.

Looks pretty cut and dry, the response was that you put the word bi***es in your profile and were banned. So what made you think it was acidmods.com that got you suspended?

that resopnce was a lie. if you look at the beginig of this thread the email I was sent from the support team clearly stated I was banned for: acidmods.com.
I was banned two years ago for stating "life takers and heart breakers, eat that bi**hes" if you finished cod4 you should remember that quote. I did a 48 hr ban for that years ago. this mod for the xbox forum dug that up, posted it, and locked the thread. I reported it, pmed him, called him out in any way I could and he would never respond. he alos told another member that you would not be banned for the same reason twice, so I called him out on that. but all these acts were ignored.
to make a long story short, they covered thier tracks. you will also see he removed the word acidmods.com from that post also, but that took a week. in the pm/report to modorator I also thatnked them for the week long of free advertising.
thanks for reminding me I am going now to send them more hate mail. LOL

wow every aspect of M$ business administration is a complete joke... espeacially the live moderators. I often wonder if M$ was small business how many times it would have failed because only corporations get away with what M$ gets away with.

some of the guys that are here can vouch for my cod skills, not to toot my own horn, but I earned my gold cross, and am on top of the leaderboards about 90% of the time, I dont use RF in online games, but it has become normal, when people start getting beat, they say oh hes modded or he has a lag switch blah blah blah...then they look at my profile "acidmods.com" and assume they are correct. its a shame that M$ can do whatever they want. I feel i was ripped off, I paid for that time of my live membership and could not use it.
