Awhile ago I saw an xbox controller with an aux in input for an ipod or mp3 or something so that the people on the other end could hear it. I wanted to do the same thing but couldn't find it anywhere. I wanted to do something like a Datel Trash talker but cheaper. I saw lakrulez14 post for an internal mic that looked like this

and i had a cheap spare mic hanging around, and I wanted to test it before I rip up an headphone jack cable, I thought I would give it a test run. I noticed that the mic from my headset didn't work while the mic was there... Any ideas on how I could make both work?
