lol first off you need DDR3 RAM for that mobo, not DDR2, second I would personally go for a quad core and a better mobo. Save some money on the hard drive, no one need 1.5 terabytes lol. Get a 1TB and save some $$. Go for a newer card with the money saved off the hard drive, maybe a 4850.
I would also use newegg, save a ton.

My bad, I could've sworn I put DDR3.

You need 2 of the above btw.

It's possible to unlock the fourth core on that model. Most of the time anyway.

the mobo has a AM3 socket and you have a AM2 processor

and if i were you i would try to find a nice aluminum case not a stamped steal case with a tone of plastic on it.

i dont want to sound to critical but that case is but ugly. if your in love with it and it would make you happy get it. but know that the build quality is not going to be good, the paint will chip and scratch. you would be better off buying a nice antec 300 that will last you for some time and numerous upgrades

I tried to get him to change the case, but he wasn't having it. I suggested the one I'm gonna use, The Chieftec CH-02, But he didn't like it. I told him about build quality and everything lol. And he didn't tell me that he changed the processor or I would have set him right.

I have the X-Cruiser, quite good but the build quality is crap. Go for anything Thermaltake or Coolermaster makes if you want the best.

I did a build for my friend with an X-Cruiser and the quality is crap. I would go for an Coolermaster or Antec.

if you get a expensive mobo you can allways add/modify stuff and you can use it longer.

1TB is still a lot i use 500gb and it enough for me really

also make sure u look at the rpms the hdd spins. 7200 is pritty standard.
i wouldnt cheap out and get a 5400 rpm hdd. its slower.
aslo something that i wish i did was get a small solid state hdd and install your OS on it.
