Title: DS External Controller USB Port Help
Post by: Shadow Ops on September 18, 2009, 04:21:18 PM
In Jumbos tutorial on DS External Controller USB Ports (https://acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=27388.0 (https://acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=27388.0)), can I use the pinoutes in this picture (http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc157/eeveenerd/pinouts.jpg (http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc157/eeveenerd/pinouts.jpg)) instead of soldering directly to the D-pad?  :dntknw:

Also, would I connect every button in my custom controller to the blue wire shown in Jumbos post, and then connect the corresponding wire (eg. P03,P01,R01) to the other lead of that button?  :help:

Thanks!

So many questions in one little paragraph  :boxed:  Ummm... here goes.

1.  Yes you can use the pinouts instead of the soldering pads.
2.  No you don't need the blue wire but You do need a ground (just one for each usb your planning on using).  There's one listed in the pinout diagram
