well i got the red ring, i turned it off and waited and then turned it back on it worked fine. i put some cardboard to close up the cpu and gpu heat sinks so the stock fans suck more heat out. but i was wondering if there and precosions i should take to prefent from permant damage.
P.S. offtopic now my dvd drive dosent read my games no more it allways says play dvd on dash. what should i do

Replace the xclamps with proper screws and washers with some decent thermal paste.
for the P.s.: are you using a custom firmware?
-
In addition to that get talismoon whisper fans they pay off.
-
thats the same thing that happened to my xbox when i tried to replace the broken drive with one from another xbox it said it was a dvd and it couldn't read it
-
Well first thing first try cleaning the lens and so forth.
-
were do i get xclamps? and the dvd isnt hacked, i cleaned it but its weird, it some times work and somtimes doent its really random
-
Yeah i get the same but if you open and close it and then sometimes don't let it close fully before you open it again it should work after about 2 mins

I have a an ejunkie site that I would like to get reviewed so people can benefit from the 10% discount on that site. Where do I send my link to, to get looked at?

but does your kit include the special thermal pads for the memory? That is the only reason mine are so expensive
