how is it? I was told it comes with two disks, one with the new campain and coop and another disk with the origional halo3 multiplayer. sound like a rental to me? IDK

The multiplayer is a disk for halo 3 and it comes with three exclusive maps on that disk only(i think)
so you can play with any account without buying the maps and isnt a rental

it's great! :hifive: I'm having lots of fun on legendary. I like the no shields idea it makes everything much more challenging. Also it takes a lot to kill just ONE brute imagine how much it takes to kill 3 :D Also I'm glad I FINALLY have a real use for the needler :laughing:
It comes with the halo 3 multiplayer disk and a halo reach beta too :winker: You don't have to pay to download the old maps anymore. I think it's a deal, at least when I bought the game at toys r us I got a free $20 gift card to boot. :w00t:

Actually it's the opposite for me. I tired of my friends inviting me to play a laggy coop game with them and then they skip the cutscenes. So I won't play with anybody on campaign until I beat the game. :laughing:

I have it. Love it. Just beat it on normal, Now I started on Legendary. Definitely worth it. I still have all the halo's. 1,2,3,ODST, and Halo Wars. Yep Yep. Good stuff.

played it at a friends house. it was cool for a while but we played all day so now im pretty much done with it

started it on saturday.. finished it sunday morning on regular. Kind of a cool story line and how the rookie goes to different scenes and finds clues, and then you get to play the through the scene as it happend. I like it more for the story in halo world then gameplay as it begins to be repetative in the city environment.... sniper jackals.... brute with 3 grunts..... 2 hunters, but once you know the most effective ways to to kill em it isnt too much to trouble navigating the city.
Ended up using the sniper rifles the most for the tougher enemies. Last level was pretty awesome. I would say that ODST is a definate RENTAL because the campaign felt like half of halo3's campaign, but with the multiplayer content i can justify the $60 price tag if you didnt already buy all the content when it came out. $40 would have been just right.
I got the one with the LE Halo ODST controller... awesome looking controller. Mike has a couple of the LE packs up in the shop with Intensafire added if anyone missed getting them when they were available at gamestop.
Im looking to do some Co-op on Legendary.

my mate just completed it on legendry and said it was ok but not amazing we did start in co-op together but i lost interest lol. yeh those controllers do look awesome our game shop here had like 20 of them just sitting there when i last whent in

i got odst its great
only thing that is missing is a ODST vs multiplayer
like the halo 3 multiplayer but with the odst wepons HUD and health system
(that would be awsome)
i got it the day of release
completed it on legenary the day after (it was rather short and seemed easyer then halo 3)
but still it was good lots of warthog and tank fun you get to fly a banshee and shoot lots os conevant so cant really go wrong
and there's abit of mongoose fun if on 4 player on the last level
fire fight is amazing
bungie jump on the band waggon for a game type of killing wave after wave of enemy AI's but they did a dam good job of it
i already have the 1000g on it (check my bungie.net stats if you dont beleive me gamertags the same as my name on here)
that vidmaster endure was a bit hard took like 5 attemps and 3 1/2 hour to do
but was fun
my advice to any 1 trying it is to do it on lost platoon use the warthog and get lots of choppers stashed in the 2 spawn rooms for the later waves
dont waste mor then 1 lazer on a tank if its bin hit wit 1 lazer ans not died it will only take a few shots from the warthog chain gun to finish it off
work as a team comunication is key
and buy then end ofit the only way to kill the bigger enemy's is splatter them or use power weapons (or plasma pistol the automag head shots)
in summary its a great game deffently worththe £32 (uk) i spent on it

You can get a mongoose as the rookie, you just have to open up one the secret supply areas. Once i got the mongoose I rolled with that for the rest of the game. (rookie in city sections) The mongoose would even do a good job killing brutes if you get a good run at em :P

yeah i know bout the mongoose as rookie does make those sections alot quicker (good for legendary) also after finding set amounts of the audio files u unlock mor supply depo's with rockets in yay 2 player rocket and monggose fun
i said about monggose fun on 4 player on the last level
on multi player if you go down the first turn off ramp on the motor way bit u'll fined 2 mongooses and 4 rocket launchers each with like 500 rockets in yay fun fun fun
