don't worry dude... Sometimes you need to hold off for a while. I just left my guitar for a month and when i picked it up last week ... I sure had picked up speed. I nailed a few songs which i couldn't earlier. Just give the muscles some time to develop and grow .

Take a break and come back to it, happens to me sometimes though it seems to happen when my interest in playing guitar is low which leads me to believe it may all be psychological. If thats the case then try to forget about your level of skill and just enjoy playing some songs regardless of the skill level needed. Then once you've calmed down come back to learning.

If you don't nessessarily drop it for a bit, jut play for leisure. Don't work so much on something skill wise.

Hell, try something completely out of your normal style, something new.

I've been messing around with some Antoine Dufour, and that :censored: is intense and outta my league, but I'm picking a couple things up that are pretty cool.
