Title: I beat the Cod 4 patch!! Sort of
Post by: tomcat on September 28, 2009, 06:08:02 PM: this is quite simple to defeat the patch actually, but any way here goes. So i was fooling around with my code because my customers weren't to happy that it didn't work for CoD 4. So, obviously I had to fix this, So i tried a bunch of speeds. On my code i have different modes, a few with jitter and pause, to defeat the Cod 5 patch, and just regular for CoD 4(pre patch),

i found that if you set the fire rate between 8-23sps, on my code, then you MUST PUT ON DOUBLE TAP, with G3, M14, m9, deagle, w/e, It is almost back up to the speed it was before the patch!!

I found that it also shot faster on the modes that had jitter and pause, none the less it still was faster than anything out there. Try it on hazers code and set the fire between 8-23, DOUBLE TAP.

oh yea and dont ask me to release my code because the answer is NO, only because it will be up on ebay in like 2.5 seconds. Enjoy

Double tap is a perk that you can use in the game Modern Warfare. It increases the firing rate of the weapon you are using.

well, I actually don't think so. I searched for hours on the internet, found nothing, even X-S nothing. I wouldn't exactly call it well known, but w/e. You many know it, but im just trying to help out some amature modders. Peace out tomcat

Not really beating a patch as you are giving up your perk2 for rapid fire.... doesnt really make for much advantage if you are giving up stopping power or UAV jammer.
