Title: FINALLY my alienware died.

It finally died after 2 years, sick of the piece of 4000 euro junk!

im buying a 17 inch mackbook pro:

- 3ghz
- 8gb ram
- 500gb 7200rpm

costs: 3600 euro

i am sick of windows it kept crashing on me and it just wasnt the thing for me. i tries a mac and it's more my thing.
i will install bootcamp so i can run windows xp because of some special programs from school.



what ya think?

lol never heard of an alienware crash, but if you think about it, windows is on it lmao

i just switched from vista back to xp pro sp3, works so great for me and its quick too

I dunno, windows 7 betas have been great for me. I had the first beta and now have the RC and they have never blue screened on me. Wait till win7 and save a bunch of money by building ur own comp. That macbook pro will be over 2000US, i could build one crazy system over that

but hell macbook is great  even when it costs u 200 in damage when you drop ur gf's macbook onto ur phone but hell its a great computer but ya alien dieing thats like breaking a analgine and not using a 12. gauge to help you

get the dell xps 16.   It can do 1080p on it's screen Nvm just remembered that the MBP can too. 

Hey deda you know if you have a friend in the US you can have them order it for you and ship it to you and save about half.

$3,849.00 in the US

$3,849.00 = 2629.6368 euros

You can get mac to run on alot of laptops :tup:. osx86project.org/ has lists of what laptops work, just do a search for one your looking at, or research one they say works well. That's my suggestion, if I could afford a mac I would, they look better. BTW don't expect the genious bar to give a  :censored:  if your hackintosh breaks though. My idea is just a little cheaper.  :winker:

im getting it over here tr-edge because i dont have to pay VAT, we have 30 comapany's:p
and im getting a 10% discount on top of it:P

im going to blow up my alienware soon, just waiting for a response from their gay technical support.


i tried windows 7 and i dont like it at all, its vista with a diff. theme.
im going to use bootcamp and install xp pro sp3, best there is.

LOL I JUST INSTALLED xp pro sp3 and i :censored:ing love it :D

now the question is should i dual boot with mac osx or no?

what ever happened to alien ware is better than anything else

not a big mac book fan and liek u said lappys dont last long with u
so in my mind that much isnt worth just 2 years
also ive read and heard alot about alien ware having probs with crashing.
