Its either an AirBrush or just a pencil thin paint brush.

Did you just do the faceplate or is there something on the back?

There is nothing on the back. I wanted to see how the acrilic paint would hold up. Its ok but the controller feels tacky. I am working on a skull soldier controller with a lot more detailed with a differnt type of paint. I am going to try and have the eyes of the skull soldier glow red when the rumble motors go off.  I post the pics / video soon.  Here a preview of what I am trying to put on the controller.
