UPDATE3:
I have decided to resume this project. The drive on this xbox was flashed with 1.6 but since the arrival of 1.7 (LT) has been washy, i have decided to make this a dual NAND linux box for now. I am currently dumping the NAND on the LPT port of a Pentium 3 512MB RAM box (only PC in my house that has a LPT parallel port lol) it has been dumping for 18 hours now and still has awhile to go. (512MB jasper unit) the LPT read speeds are rediculously slow. It is currently on sector 06EF3 of 07FFF blocks. More updates and pics VERY soon, as the case is finished and ill be soldering in the XD card stealth dual boot some time this weekend.

UPDATE2:
No work done today, weather was bad all day today, never got chance to paint, and with the humidity they way it is, the paint would not lay correctly. Going to be busy this weekend. Hopefully Ill have the finished product or at least new updates on Monday

UPDATE:
http://www.youtube.com/v/FFC4ViuQb34&hl=en&fs=1

Sounds good. I'd like to see this. I'll be modding a 360 or two in the upcoming months and need some more ideas ;P
Considering this is coming from you, I can't wait to see this finished. I'm sure it's gonna come out well!

Oh...and I think you're using the same fan controller as me. Haha

you could lap the processors but they are pretty flat as they are and there are A LOT of components that I did not feel like accidentally breaking off while sanding or getting a bridge from metal dust particles and such. the heatsinks were just machined and sanded smooth, but using the sharpie test and just visual looks there were machined lines in the metal that i wanted to sand smooth for better contact with the processor. I already put the sinks back on, but Ill do a tutorial or something with some pics, with like the other 500 sets of these things I have lol

yeah took a long time to make, couple weeks. there are 4 different greens as well as black. the modernwarfare2 symbol is in the paint, it is not sticker. there are cuts above and below it, as well as the "Grenade Danger Indicator" symbol cut on the other side. i need to take pics of the mobo chassis as well, as it has been cut for better airflow, as well as painted black with green sparkle in it. This is one of my best looking cases for xbox ive done yet. Also the top and bottom vents are painted with a "Ghost" effect. If you look at them from the front of the xbox (vertical) they are green, but if you look at the from an angle, they are black.

nice man, kinda hard to see the 'grenade' window but looks clean. would like to see a shot of that chassis, too.
didn't notice the ghost effect at first, but now I see what you're saying... how'd you accomplish that?

Wow.  How is that MW2 symbol not a sticker?  It is so detailed.  Also, what is that pic of the red board with the SD card of?  Is there anyway you might do some painting and or detailed cutting methods tuts?

the mw2 logo is a decal, it has just been cleared into the paint. The XD (not SD) card is being used as a second NAND chip in the xbox and the card socket was removed from one of the card readers to be used inside the xbox. I might make some tutorials later on down the road, but i dont have plans to at the moment as I am getting booked with orders, projects, and exams right now.
