Somewhere I can submit a 3D CAD design and have it made.

get it machined by a mill,3d laser cutting is EXTREMELY expensive.

Do you have any recommendations then Ryan?

This place is out of the question. I used the cheapest ABS (This one is used for vacuum forming. I'm assuming I'd be fine with it) and the cost is $700 for my "project" and I haven't even finished half of it.

the cheapest option is making the mould yourself out of wood and having that vacuformed or casted,whichever suits best.Silicone moulding is very easy to do and very cost effective!
If you can't do that then go to a nearby metal shop and see if they'll mill it out.To be honest there isn't many places that will machine a 3d model for anything less than 300 dawra,no matter what it is!

it wont help you much right now, but my next project is probably going to be this, or something very similar.(once I get settled into the new house) for cutting/ettching windows/jewls for the xbox, psp, etc.

Also,I'm currently developing a milling machine controlled by the BASIC Stamp chip,which will be much cheaper and simpler than the one in that instructable.
@kicks:
it will in fact be cheaper to build a cnc milling machie than to have a prototype made.

Let me put it this way.
Height x width x length

260 x 45 x 205mm black ABS case...

Of course, that's total dimensions. It'll be hollowed out, holes in it, etc...

Ugh theres no way I could make something this intricate out of wood and vacuum form it though.

yeah that'll most likely have to be vacuformed then you drill the holes in it yourself,nobody would machine something that for less than 400 dawra
