how do you KNOW O.o

i had a device that went through the wash. it worked after i let it dry out. but then one day shortly afterward it just died.

As long as the iPod wasn't on and didn't turn on while in the wash, and he let it dry out 110% before turning it on, then no damage would've been done except maybe some water behind the screen or something. Theoretically.

I've had multiple iPods and stuff go through the wash and they've been fine.

The only problem was the hold switch wouldn't wok properly, but other than that it works fine :)

let me tell you from expereance.

water damage dose not get better over time. it will fail at some pint. it could go years it may be hours. but at some point it will fail
