Well, dont get me wrong, i loooooove my macbook pro.
i had a problem with screen brightness. when it was not on full or not on lowest it would give a high pitching tone.
i called apple and told them about my prolem, they would repair it and take 3 weeks max. or they would pick it up (TNT) and wll send me a brand new one and will test it if it has this problem, if not ill get it, if it does they will replace the part on all the MBP's that will be made from now.
so im getting a new one for free:)
apple rocks, for real i love their costumer support and their gay music when on hold...lol

yeh say what ya want but try this with dell, you will never sucseed.
old macbook leaves: next wensday
new one arrives: next wnesday

im guessing theyre gonna pick it up at the same time they drop the new one off.
but i personally dont like their customer service. when i had my ipod touch, it bricked (because of failtunes trying to restore it.) and they were going to charge me 150$ to fix it even when i had the warranty from buying it 6 months ago.

by any chance was it bricked whilst trying to restore a jailbroken firmware as if it was and they found out it was then they would of charged you. as my bricked (well it wouldnt turn on again any way) and they just swapped it out there and then for a new one after running some tests.
im glad you had a good experience with them deda they are by far and away the best customer service people i have had to deal with in my gadgety years
btw im going to go and grab one of there new mice this weekend and take it for a spin - i will post my no doubt exuberant and jubilees thoughts

mine had the exact same problem, but it was before i even jailbroke it. actually it was RIGHT before i was about to jailbreak/winpwn it. i went to restore it before i did anything, and then it stopped working.

@Robin , doesn't the mouse look particularly uncomfortable to you ? I tried out a mac a few weeks back and i'm sorry to say that i didn't really enjoy it much. Definitely didn't like the macbook pro hardware and didn't much enjoy the os

lol, yh dell sucks, same as alienware.
i dont have a game console, i olny play cod4 anyways.
idk if america has the same costumere rights as we do over here but when a product aint working we can return it and they ened to eplace it within a wee otherwise you can ask your money back and like 10% extra....idk.
i love the fact they gave me free mobile me jut for all the hassle.
ill do a real unboxng video when i get my new macbook pro and ill make it a lot of fun....lol

i dont know thats why im waiting till the weekend so i can go into the shop and try it instead of just ordering it off the web. and i guess its mainly personal choice on what you like as i far like 400% more enjoy the apple hardware and os as i have found windows laptops and the windows OS to just feel clunky. where as all the mac hardware i have had has felt sturdy and i find the os and UI far more intuitive than windows and i find that with my mac i could leave it running for much longer than i could with previous windows computers without doing any maintence like defrag and disc cleanup etc (my imac has been on for the past 4 months now i think

oh sir, dont even go that way....
ive had 3 dells and they were all pieces of :censored:.
my alienware died on me 4 times and all they said was; sending back will vost you 150 euro.

Theres no reason to pay 3 times more for a mac,if you genuinely like mac os compared to windows or linux then go hackintosh and save yourself a few thousand bucks,people only think apple pc's are better because they're a status symbol,they're the same components as any other pc,same everything,and if you get a decent warranty with a dell then they will be just as,if not more,efficient with the repair or replacement of the product.
If you're entitled to your opinion then I am entitled to mine.

i too agree with ryan. Also , is it just me but the macbook really doesn't look THAT good....
When you can get more or less the same experience for a LOT less , why not ?

guys, it's my money. so i make this choice not you.
if i like apple i will :censored:ing buy a apple.
i can buy a 1000 macbooks if i want so money aint the problem.
i've has a dell to and it wasnt what i expected, same with aienware.
i need a laptop for school and i never had a desktop because i dont like being sticked to one place.
guys what is the problem with me loving an apple product?

I have no problem whatsoever with you loving an apple product. I myself have an iPod. I do believe that Apple products are aspirational and if u have the money , why not go for it ?
Personally i dont really like it much BUT that might be because of the fact that i could never afford a laptop let alone a macbook

they were jsut not as good as i expected that is all.

got a friend working at ivizi store (One of the official apple resellers here in the netherlands because we don't have apple shops in all the city's) and i can get everything there at a discount :P and i can return anything i want from apple because he also works there for school :P and for himself
For school he works at the hardware part (repairs etc..) and for himself in the store :P

new macbook pro was send friday from china and i recieved it today!!! friggin fast of ya ask me!
they called me after an hour i got it if everything was o.k and if i had any roblems with it what so ever.
guess what....everything works like it supposed to do!
apple, well done!
