what does the 5% mean?.. can i use this for lm386? is it 1/4 watts? 1/2?..

5% refers to the resistors tolerance, which means the actual resistance may differ by as much as 5% from what it is rated at. Wattage is not part of the 4-band code, but you can roughly estimate by the resistors size.

you can use either the 1/2 wattage or 1/4 wattage...

though if you want to save space a little better go with the 1/4 watts kabayan :tup:
