Title: iPhone 3g taking a long time to backup

I have been waiting for about 20 minutes for it to backup.  Its getting a little annoying, as I want to make sure that I have all my contacts and such backed up in case I need to do a restore or something.  Anyone have any ideas?

That is because you restored from backup.  Backing up your iPhone saves your contacts and the location of your apps and notes and such. Try restoring it on another pc or setting it up as a new phone, and you will lose them all (until you restore from the original backup again).

it can take ages - one time when it was backing up mine it took an hour. i depends on how much oyu have on it and i have also found it varys depending on the cable used
