Title: Help!! broken ribbon connector

I bought a ps3 from some guy on craigslist and he said the blu ray dvd drive wasn't working.I opened up the ps3 to replace the lens then i saw that the ribbon connector on the mobo did not have the clip that holds the cable in place.How can i get the cable to stay in place now?

hot glue MAY be your answer but the only way to test it would to insert it, turn the ps3 on and if it reads disks put hotglue on it and hope for the best.  if not try very carefully to take it off without ruining anything else. 

If you can try to put something down around the connector that way the hot glue isn't touching the  mobo so if you do have to remove it, it won't ruin something as easily.
