I have a compaq presario that won't turn on, idk y. There is a green led on the back that flashes when I plug the power cable in. Any ideas on how 2 fix?

Buy a new pc?
You didnt give much info on it, you can check out there site for troubleshooting.
-
ok well heres what could do it. If its a desktop, your monitory could not be working correctly, cheack the cable for breaks, make sure that you it has power.
Now if its a laptop, what could be is that the internal wires could have come loose or broke.
Like ch4rl13 said cheack there site for warrenty/ troubleshooting page for information on your porblem.

already checked the website, no help.
but more info, my grandfather was on the computer, not tech savy even a little bit, so he was doing something which froze up the pc and he couldnt click anything so insted of doing the smart thing and just waiting for me 2 get back he goes and pulls the power cord out of the wall socket. when i come back and try to turn it on it wont cut on i plug it back into the wall and this green light in the back just keeps blinking. so if that gives any ideas on what the problem could be.

Was he looking at pron? lol jk
Did you ask him what he was doing, maybe he bricked it, if thats even possible for a laptop.
But nothing happens at all? Have you tryed everything, removing the battery, holding power or reset, shaking it lol?
I was going to say reinstall the OS but there is no screen.
When you plug it in, do you here any fans turn on, or when you push power are there any fans or bootup noises?

It sounds like the power supply might have gone bad. Try replacing that, if its not the powersupply its the motherboard. most likely when he pulled the cord he short circuited something.
