I found one of the products that Val sells on pspgen and i found out that he did'nt use 191k and 30k on his product.. instead he used a 12k and 22k..
what does changing the resistors do?..
here's some images..

and what does the blinking "X" mean?

PleAse heLp.. ansWers are greatly appreciated.. :beg:

Well for the 'X' i think it means that if it dosen't have it it wont sound.......that's my guess =/
-
up for my question..

please answer this.. :(
-
hmm, my guess is his attempt to make the sound board more reactive, he is also bridging the gain and the bypass pins, not to sure what the effect of that would be.
Might test out his method.
-
Yea me too i have 22k in my resistor box ill check and see if i have 12k witch i should have and test this as well Im curious.
-
try asking arioch..he's the one who build that board..
-
Well i tested it I dont know the difference besides the sound out of the speaker seem lower then the way i usually do it.
-
you also must bridge the bypass and gain pins.
-
Yea i did that ghost...
-
then what happened guys?..
-
Well from the look of this diagram it showing the loader the speaker gets the brighter the leds get witch is the same affect as the other I did it. So Im not really sure what the difference is besides the speakers not sounding as load as the other away unless Im using a crappy song.
-
no what the diagram is saying is that when there is no sound the leds should be off.
-
so ghost?.. I can concLude that you can change the way that leds react by changing the resistors?..
-
not really sure if changing the value of ur resistor would affect the reactivity of ur leds..
and i think what ghost saying is reactivity of ur leds depends on ur sound output..
no sound = no led reaction..
is that correct ghost?
correct me if i'm wrong buddy..

Hi, this pspgen diagram is the best Way for red LED (or other LED = ~1.8Volt/0.03A) , cause with the acidmods diagrams you can solder blue LED (or other LED = ~3.5Volt/0.02A) but with the red LED that don't work....
With pspgen diagram you can solder all LED colors.
And with this diagrams, if you change the value of the R1 resistor you can change the LED reactivity.
Try With R1 > 5.1K and try with 2.2K....the reactivity is really different ;)

PS it's not my board above , here my board:
For sound

And for Trigger reactivity

@Arioch_76 thank you very much for answering.. what is the purpose for the green wire and the pink wire soldered to the ribbon hoLders?
-
Those are for the triggers akomismo0.
-
yea it is for if you wan't leds to be activated when the triggers are pressed, he has done it using transistors.
-
thanks for answering guys!.. i appreciate it..

additional question:.. what does bridging the bypass and gain do?..
