I ended up getting a white one and i got a free copy of RockBand unplugged with it (original shipment came with free voucher codes)

im kinda mad that i cant get it to sync to my ps3 via bluetooth though

oh yeah another thing im pissed about is theres no battery information thing like on the old psps so you can only go by the little battery icon in the top corner of the screen.

I went to update it it got to 86% then all of a sudden power light goes dead screen stays stuck at 86% with the BT light and memory card light solidly on for about 5 mins

It just does that.
It did update though without bricking, right?

yeah it updated w/o bricking just a random little thing that scared me lol

also i think i know how factory service mode is achieved on the go

mine only ever froze doing one thing "Pausing the LBP PSP demo" but i can pause the full version.
