Title: Is this a joke?
Post by: TR4G- on December 31, 2009, 09:26:30 AM: I just opened my 3k for the first time to scope it out before i do the internal camera mod. simply took out the lcd. plugged it back in and the top fifth of the LCD screen is messed up. Really? ive dropped psp 1000 LCDs onto hard floors before and they havent broken..... i handled this one with extreme care considereing it was my only 3k.

Is there something that im missing?> or are these LCDS just 40 times more fragile?

Dealextreme sometimes has lower prices, but the item can take forever to arrive. I'm not sure, but I believe the 3000 hardware supports the 2000 screen. I'll have to test it out.

I would, but I stripped a screw on my 2000 housing so I need a drill to take out the screw, unless I break the faceplate :(
