well i got some extra money left from my monthly salary after deductions, so i was wondering is it really worth it to buy the camera off from say dealextreme or focal price seeing that they have the cheapest ones. or if anyone has any and wants to sell cheaper to me x). and install it internally?

I loved mine, was pretty good, sure it was only 1.3MP but it actually turned out pretty good quality pics, and the ability to take video was hugely helpful too. I don't know how much they cost now or if you could find one cheaper than retail, but I liked mine, even if it is kind of a novelty item that should have been built into the unit from the start. In fact sometimes I think it took better pictures than my $200 8.1MP digital camera...

lol . well as i said im sorta a hobbyist. and as a lot of people know any kind of hobby is expensive. for example models. It is as i said just for fun so yurr xD.

The picutres are preety clear for a 1.3MP camera. focalprice is sold out xD and dealextreme i cant seem to find it. so if i were to do this i would have to buy it from ebay which ranges from $60-150... too bad bestbuy doesnt have them for sale or i wouldve used all my gift cards

I bought my chotto shot in japan for $45. :)
I absolutely love the thing even though I don't use it very often.
Picture quality is decent.
The videocamera though is really really good.
I think it can record at 30fps so it's almost like using the videocamera function on a normal camera. This + 22GB of memory from my cr-3100 mod works out pretty well... Except for the fact that one of my sd cards can't handle 30fps. (Either that or the whole cr3100 thing can't handle it; I think the memory cards have to be class 6 or something like that.) So sometimes it'll stop recording randomly. When I had a normal memory stick, it worked fine. So dunno.
Overall though, I think that if you want your psp to have a decent videocamera or if you want a psp novelty item, definitely get it.
If you already have a good camera or don't have a lot of free space on your psp memory stick/memory mods, don't bother getting it.
You're gonna want a lot of free space. I think a 1 minute video took up 10 mb.

ah alright. 10mb is nothing xD. and i have like 32gb on it. so meh. and did you buy yours online or directly from japan when you went for vacation or sumthing. i was thinking of installing internally if i ever get it lol

I bought mine directly from Japan.
Went into a store in Ginza.
I think I bargained for it and got 5 bucks off, but I'm not sure since it was 2 years ago. (Wow, 2 years already?) lol
