Title: Second xbox 360 controller paint job (with vinyl dye this time)
Post by: Tri-edge on January 14, 2010, 11:36:49 AM: I'm painting it right now but I'll give a cookie to whoever guess the the color combination. Also instead of spray paint I am doing vinyl dye to see the difference between the two.

EDIT: I'm done painting and man everything looks SUPURB! I looks like OEM quality and it feels like it too (it's still not done drying yet though)

I happened to have a spare set of analog sticks so I'm painting those too and I'll see if it rubs off or not.

And to help the people who will be guessing the colors. it's a two tone controller and primary color you cannot buy (~~even in third party shells they haven't made this color yet~~) and the secondary color is something you can buy.

EDIT2: I will post pictures once someone guesses the color of the controller. If somebody gets at least one color right then I'll tell them

cause I seem to remember red and black being mentioned... as well as blue and black...

Post by: Tri-edge on January 14, 2010, 05:40:04 PM: black is secondary but it's neither blue or red. I decided if I wanted a blue/red controller I would just buy it for $25 on ebay. I JUST saw one third party shell on ebay in this color.

it does not exclude special edition colors

EDIT: nevermind there's like five this color.

it's still curing but it's almost done now. the thing about vinyl dye is that you can pick it up and reassemble with in 20min but I'm not playing with it for at least 24hrs
