for aftercare always follow the APP guidelines (http://www.safepiercing.org/piercing/body-aftercare/)...
If you ever get another piercing, check the APP site for a certified piercer in your area, there is a reason these people train for so long and apprentice before they are on their own. they know what they are doing and the risk of infection, migration, misalignment, or other issues is greatly minimized by using a professional. the cost of paying a pro is not that much different than doing it on your own.

cheers.
i'll look into it.
the black and the anodised studs arrived today.
ears not fully healed so can't change them yet.
-
remember, the piercing may not be fully healed even if it looks like it is. piercings heal from the out-side to the in-side, so even if the outside looks healed it may not be completely healed all the way through. ear lobe piercings generally take anywhere from 6-8 weeks, and ear cartilage can take 4-8 months. (the tongue heals the fastest out of the body piercings, 4-6 weeks). the more you mess with it the longer it will take to heal.

more studs arrived today.
the superman ones :P

I cleaned mine with disinfectant for a few weeks after, you could even use surgical spirits or methylated spirits
