Rightioo - I got my programmer about a year and half ago and it took some time to get working, but it worked eventually.
I wanted to try out the t0pfire code so I blew the dust off the box and got it back out, plugged it into to my laptop w/ windows 7 ultimate (32) and I downloaded the programming program supplied with the programmer and plugged it in found the right COM Port (at least I think I did) and put a 12F683 in there and everytime I try to program it I get this;

This is what the programmer looks like;

Did you have the chip in the wrong spot or backwards? I had the same issue with the same programmer when I first got it and that was my issue.

No it was driver issues :P
