Xbox 360 Sound Reactive LED Mod Without PulseVU
Sound Reactive LEDs in Xbox 360 without PulseVU 2x (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPcXQBKyPpE#normal)
I put 14 blue leds in my Xbox 360 with a sound reactive circuit i made.
The total cost of the mod was like 8$ with the leds and everything.
The way i made it isent as flashy as a PulseVU 2x but it still looks nice.

Don't get a p2 connector wire the red sound wire to the right audio and wire the ground to any ground point on the motherboard, The 12v goes to any 12v point and Ground goes to any ground..

These are the ones i made, except i put 7 leds on each board.
(These are the boards im puting in my PC but i made them the same way tho...)

Hey i think your tut is great, I'm not very good at circuts though, only problem i have is the grounds? I don't see any on the circut picture you had it says underneath it though that instead of using a p1 just solder the wire to the right audio on the xbox 360 but there is two wires connected to the p1 in your diagram, where would that second wire go? and would one end be connected to the 12v source like you showed or a ground, sorry if this is confusing, Thanks for you tut and help!

"oh i see how this could be confusing i didn't make the diagram very readable haha but the black wire that goes into p1 would usually go to the ground on an audio jack on say on a computer but u can take the black wire from p1 and wire it to the ground on any point. 'So to fix your problem just take the black wire from p1 and u can solder it to any ground point. and take the red wire to the right audio point, and only that one point showed is connected to 12v'."

Nice tut this would get annoying when you are playing COD or something where shooting pulses sound. You would have a seizure just being near it lol.

Hey so did you take a wire and connect it to a 12v source then a resistor to the same source? Or is that just how to diagram is? Damn im so close to finishing this!

"pm'ed" but the wire goes from 12v + to the resistor and the other side of resistor goes to the LED+ the black and tan wires are not connected.

what size resistor did you use? also I found a pic for the xbox 360 for audio pinouts but cant upload it to this site. i go to addition options no pic upload, did i miss something somewhere about how to upload pics?
