My firmware is 6.XX (XX =  some numbers I can't remember) is it possible to downgrade these like the old PHATS?

You cant, other than finding another 5.03 Fw'd 3000.

Does anyone know what the actual chip is that stores this memory? I have uv hardware at work that wipes rom.
