Title: Awesome ^,^
Post by: PspKicks316 on March 06, 2010, 04:08:58 PM
So after going out to dinner with my grandparents, we stopped at Target to see if they had OSX Snow Leopard. No luck. Then we stopped at Best Buy...and they had it. I'm walking up to the register and my grandpa hands me $30 and tells me I can pay the rest. It was $33 with tax.

I just got a legit retail OSX 10.6 disk for $3.

HACKINTOSHING MY DESKTOP, HERE I COME!

Installing it as a Virtual Machine.

Why? Code iTouch apps. What's better...buying a Mac or buying a disk?

Now I can sell that new MB I'm getting free in about a month...

Hackintoshing is a pain in the ass, it involves ALOT of driver hunting, especially on laptops. Vaio's especially.

Meh.

Got my install working perfectly. I'm downloading updates right now.
Sound isn't working, though, but that doesn't surprise me. I need to reboot and try a different sound output.

=) It's a virtual machine. I have the best of both worlds haha
