No not Star Trek
I'm talking about the windows edition. Anyone useing / used it? I got a copy of it and I was. Wondering if it's worth installing (upgrade from stock 7 Home Premium x64.)
-
Probably not.
Looking at the feature set, there isn't much that would really benefit a general, non-business user like you and I.

I'm buisness centric though :P
I run AutoCAD and the like. I also heard you can run UNIX programs? Anyone hear of this?
-
I highly highly doubt you can run UNIX programs.....
-
Me either, but I read on wikipedia that you could.
But it's wikipedia, so meh :P

yea you can run some unix programs (like basic command line ones). you can also do that in ultimate and maybe professional. You need to go to "enable/disable windows features" and check the "subsystems for unix based applications" the go to the folder in the start menu and download the app/utilities for it (idk wat to do next cause i haven't tried it.)
