Title: psp 2000 gets very hot after i did led mod?

ok i was doing a led l n r buttons on my psp slim 2 leds on right speaker red,1 white on left speaker thats the one i use 4 the back of umd and after a while of playing it gets very hot especially the screen im pretty sure the conection is good i have done this before? anyone has an idea of what im doing wrong any tips.
i removed everything this is how i got the leds solder.

Have you checked for shorts anywhere at all? Usually, when something get's really hot, it's because you shorted something or splashed solder or something you shouldn't. Also, is that magnet wire? I believe magnet wire is much easier to short than kynar, so maybe you should give some kynar a try?

The exact same thing happened to me too. Turns out it did that because one of my wires was shorted to the heat sink in the back. Fixed it with electrical tape.
