Title: Dual mode rapid fire

I saw a few people selling dual mode rapid fire chips for ps3 on eBay so I'm assuming it's now possible. Since I don't want to pay the rediculous prices I bought a 12f629 to program myself.

I have the programmer I built myself for the xbox chip, now all I need is the code. I'm looking forward to playing some
mw2 tonight rapid fire style.

Any suggestions on where to find it, many thanks.

I don't think there is currentley an open source code for what you want. I think the R&D team are working on it but not too sure.

Ahh thats no problem, realistically I just want to get the value out of the programmer I built.

Why dis you get a 12f629? Isn't the chip supposed to be a 12f683?

The 12F683 is for 360s, most listings on ebay were using a 12F629 for PS3. Was cheaper anyway.

The 12f683 has 10bit A/D and 256 bytes EEPROM... I use the 683 and have dual wield Akimbo rapid firing firing from R1 and L1 :)

Do you think you can post how to wire it for R1 L1?
