have a 1tb formatted 32fat plugged in jtag xbox doesn't recognize it .
found a tutorial hddhackr091 -Xbox_360_120GB_HDDSS.BIN
but as stated it is only going to recognize 120gb right.
thanks for your help will keep looking

You can use HDDHakr to get the xbox to read 250GB, that's the highest capacity for now.
-
hum if i use a stock 120 and install xexmenu than i can get the xexmenu to read the 1tb right ?
-
Sniper already said 250GB was the highest.
-
1tb HAS been done, saw it somewhere on x-scene. I think it only works for media though, and not data
-
format the dive in fat 32. you will most likely need a program such as "swissknife" (use google) once its formatted, xexmenu will see the drive. you can rip games to it and use it from xexmenu. however before useing it, you should use hddhacker or the xbox itself to format a xbox partition to it. that way you will have some of the drive for homebrew and some for xbl content.

with the arrival of the gow3 and mw3 console the highest is now 320 gb look for the hdd image and hddhacker
-
xexmenu and fsd reads externals. my jtag reads my 1tb.
doesnt have to be stock. on my jtag im using a 3.5" 250gb no problem

on FSD and xex menu itll handle tb all day but under the normal dashboard itll only recognize 320gb as of now
plus you cant pop in a 320 hdd under normal dash and expect it to read it wont youll need to flash with the 320gb img using hdd hacker
-

i tried the hdd connector from the off hdd from m$ didnt try usb

i make use of the copy dvd feature under fsd to remove my dvd drive
