Title: Help with speaker mod

I'm trying this speaker mod: https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,32814.0.html (https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,32814.0.html) (Add a new big speaker).
My problem is that i'm trying it on a PSP Phat (1000), where are the speaker + and - connections on the motherboard?
I know I can wired it with the original speakers, but is there this other connections like in PSP Slim?

The way I would do it is to cut the speakers from the wires, keep the wires plugged into the jacks, and solder to the wires. Then pull power from a power point on the motherboard.
