Title: Q:hardmodding the homebar ribbon

does anyone know how to hardmod the homebar ribbon? i know the points to hardmod to on the mobo. but im not sure how to solder the wires onto the ribbon.

assuming the clip is broken off (why else would you want to wire it?) just put the ribbon where it would be in the clip and like tape it on there, or use hot glue. make sure it's on there properly by turning on the psp with it attached, test it, and if it works glue it in that position. wires will break and its hard to solder to a point that small

i never said the wire were broken nor the clip was broken. There is something wrong with the zif connector. That is why i want to hardwire it.
