Title: [HELP]Wifi switch not turning on T_T

Hope you can help me guys..How can I fix this?? The wifi switch of my psp is not turning on..

BTW..Ive already tried to solder the wifi switch for it to be always turned on..and also be ready for the LED mod i wanna do..then after that..puke!wifi switch not turning on..

if you soldered to always be on and it's not on, that would suggest a fried wifi board

sounds about right, I dont like soldering anything on the board cause I dont want to mess anything up

My PSP still don't have WIFI..hope someone here can help or teach me how to fix it...

undo what you did, to try and make it work like it was intended.

you did cut the trace after soldering the two pins together right?

Can you provide detailed pictures of your switch? Also as Matt suggested have you tried to undo what you have done?

Might I suggest you get some desoldering braiding and some flux..  Dip the braiding in the flux so that some of the flux is on the braiding (not too much). Then cover your joints with the flux dipped braiding and apply your iron to the top of the braiding.... That will suck up all the solder..

I doubt you fired your Wifi board but you never know... also what wattage iron are you using?
