i have been wondering around this forums and notice people say different thins about rol for the controller what i want to know is which would be the richest and brightest blue for my controller and where to get them like unique leds or something i know i can solder them i did it for a friend i dont know if this stuff will mater but better safe then sorry i have a cg2 controller and i use the rechargeable batteries i would much appropriate an answer.sorry but i added this i want to add a stealth rapid fire mod but well the new leds get in the way or stop the led to tell what mode its in i remember seeing some guy complaining how he swapped the rol and the mod wasn't working right with the led right btw im pretty sure im going with the unique leds blue 380 mcd max leds

Ok first the size of LEDs normally used for xbox360 controllers are 0603, You can find 0603 surface mount LEDs on ebay and many other part companies on the internet.
LEDs have a brightness scale measured in millicandela (mcd).
Normal LEDs are usually 500 mcd, which is a fair brightness.
Very good LEDs that are hard to look at have vivid color and brightness are close to 15,000 mcd.
Blue LEDs, however are best sometimes average brightness; usually in the range between 12,000 mcd and 6,000 mcd.

Sometimes forward current plays a role with the mcd rating and color.
normally LEDs have a current consumption of 20mA
Those LEDs you have linked are 100mA ... which means the mcd rating isn't going to be as high.
It a bit hard to explain... plus they will look sweet anyways!
