Title: bummer!!!
Post by: Modded Matt on June 14, 2010, 01:10:32 PM
So I got buddies in ireland. one of them has a stack of xboxes that have suffered the rrod. I convinced him to send me one (40 euro Worth of postage) he just grabbed one did not think to look at it, as he has had his new one a year...or so he thought...

anyway 40 euro later and a week in the post I get the xbox....Jtag, here I come. I plugged it in to get the secondary error code, bam one red light E74....oh crap!!! so... I spent half a day with  a heat gun, and went ah aid and did xclamp while I was at it. plugged it in and it starts to load, I get excited, I let it over heat as I do with all xclamp fixes, and re-tighten the xclamp bolts. plug it back in to check the kernel and it hits me......why is this avatar looking at me??? oh :censored:, the old dash did not have avatars......bummer.....kernel...7357
