Title: LED buttons without switch

 i don't know if someone has already asked this question but i was wondering if anyone knows how to add LEDs to your buttons that will turn on only when the controller is on. i have already done my research on wiring the lights and powering them but i don't want to have a switch on it or have to remove my battery pack every time i stop playing.

use my tuts in the tuts area.... and use a cg pad or use my tut and rdc octocupler thing for for matrix and cg2 pad types k mate

what I think spurg is trying to say is use this thread as a guideline:

You can also use an NPN transistor or Mosfet for switching, the type depends on how much voltage you have to spare.

those are exactly what i needed. thanks guys. seems all hope in my project it not lost after all.

i'm still new to these things so things like this are greatly helpful.
