Title: flashed drive and ban question

so today i picked up an elite at a flea market for only $25!

It had an rrod 0110 error but i fixed it.

I noticed that it was flashed (i found a backed up game in it).

I tested the network connection and it  has not been flagged.  I want to use it online and want to restore it back to regular original firmware.  If I restore it back to Original firmware on the disc drive, will this 360 be safe online?
