Last Week, the Wireless Power Consortium Confirmed that it's "Qi Interoperability Standard" has now been finalized. This is set to be a standard for all wirelss charging in the future.
Any Qi-compliant device will be compatible with any Qi-compliant charger, dock, etc.
This first specificaion is designed for devices using up to 5 Watts, but ideas and research are in the pipeline for more power-hungry devices.
