Title: Best rapid fire mod for MW2?
Post by: radddogg on August 01, 2010, 08:37:40 AM
Hi,

I've done many controller mods over the last few years but stopped when they started patching them. I'm using my old COD:WAW 3 mode sleeper mod (akimbo/8 sps/20+sps) but this is patched on MW2, however I see people with uber fast FALs. Are they using something new that I haven't seen? What is the best mod available at the moment?

Thanks

Cool thanks, I have some already coded chips from ebay with the now patched code on them, can I get a PIC(?) controller and recode them? I assume there are tutorials on her on how to do it?

Thanks guys, you're the best :hifive:

yes you can get a compatible PIC Programmer on ebay or make a simple one for only 12F683 chips and re-program them. i suggest you get a 8 pin socket so you can take out the chip and reprogram it whenever a new rapid fire code is released and put it back in without having to clean it or solder it back on. there are many tutorials on how to erase and program a chip and all you really have to do is connect it to your pc and get it to detect your programmer with the chip in it and press the erase button or program button on the app you use to program/erase them. the most popular program everyone uses is winpic (any version) or winpic800.
