Title: Powerboard Ribbon Cable Issue...
Post by: Vanz__ on August 03, 2010, 05:01:14 PM
My LEDs aren't too bright (Power and Charge) at the moment...I have to "bend" the Powerboard ribbon cable in such a way so that they become brighter. When it's all hooked-up, and under the LCD cage, the LEDs return to the "dimmer" state because the cable becomes flat against the LCD cage. I hope this makes sense in some way; I had a hard time describing this scene. I've tried other ribbon cables; using the other cables, the LEDs wont even light up.

Yea, I ordered a new one. Only $2. Anyway, I hate to thread-jack (my own thread); but what resistor can I bridge to help make my Wi-Fi LED brighter? It's blue, and has a typical forward voltage of 3.4v and a max of 3.6v. I also have a white LED for the Memory Stick. I bridged the top-left resistor and it's brighter; but if I could bridge another resistor let me know that too. Thanks guys, you've been a help in this project.
