Im not sure how this works, but as i was putting in some sound reactive led's, i had one wire connected to one of the speakers and i accidental touched the ground to the metal plate on the motherboard. it gives off constant light, its not sound reactive. i need to know if this is alright to do and wont short anything out. if you didnt understand what i mean, here is a picture.

no, it would prolly be ok, but no its not proper or safe. you need to land the ground wire in its appropriate place to avoid future problems
