hi

i mite be doing abit of pic coding and i know this has been asked so many times but me its my first lol.

it mite be cheap to people but im not bothered if it is or not.

is this pic programmer ok for little jobs it goes from 8 pin to 28 pin.

it might work, but it has a very short list of supported devices, and the most comon one we use is 12f683 which is not listed. sped a few more bucks and get a something like this:

well thx but i don't like importing im in uk and not much for that stuff here were i am.

Funnily enough that's the one I have. I've not tried it with the 12f683 yet, but it is very easy to use... But for sake of compatability, a USB one is probably better, bearing in mind this board is a very old design. And if you are going to buy it, don't get it in kit form unless you are awesome at soldering
