Firstly, black ops is here, and I gotta say...impressive game. Spurgs or t0ps, any news on t0pmap, Been hanging for the razer onza, and in the meantime I bought the madcatz precision aim contoller, what a piece of :censored:. Static through the xbl chat cable sticky buttons etc. So I made my own using a mechanical method with a dip switch. Anyway just really looking for some news on t0pmap.

dont mean to jake your thread dude, but I must disagree with your statment on black opps. I think its just a big polished turd.
top map is on hold until topbuz returns. not sure if he is ever coming back at this point.

Good to see you're back t0ps, I have recently installed flex to a wired cl board (successfully) and have a 8 way dil block in the back for a mechanical solution for re-locating all buttons, but I gotta tell ya what a complicated project that was. I will post some pics soon.
-
Sounds good, Well t0pmap is not a complete remap solution.
The mod has 2 tactiles and it allows you map these tactiles to almost any button on the controller. for easyier accessability.
Also you can rapidfire any of the mapped buttons.

what chip will it use?
-
That wont be available untill public release.
-
what else will we be seeing top

So I finally finished my little project, and I big shout out to hazer and t0p for the continued support for open source code.

I wanted to build something that could be completely detached from the shell(in case of repairs new chip etc. Lol can you spot the RB trace repair.
Next is the male end of the loom and bottom half of the shell

I was inspired to make something better than the current combat controllers on the market, as I felt they didn't really provide any easier of use. You only have to look at what buttons are mapped to what side on theirs compared to mine to see the difference. The right side (when looking at this image) 1=A, 2=X, 3= left stick click, 4=LB. The left side: 1=B, 2=Y, 3= Right Stick Click, 4=RB

Very nice i love how you set it up so that the shell is detachable but very good work

Next I am looking at refining the idea and using a smd pic and have everything in the bottom half of the shell. so does anyone have any idea what sort of programmer I need to program a 12f683 i/sn. I currently have this board http://www.vellemanusa.com/us/enu/product/view/?id=522056 (http://www.vellemanusa.com/us/enu/product/view/?id=522056)
Cheers

looks pretty cool, which button do you press to activate the buttons? do you have to flick those little switches?
anywho nice work
as for those smd PICs, if they use the same pins for programming, could you not just extend wires off the PIC legs to your programmer?

the little rectangle switches turn each desired button (obviously one at a time) to the larger black tactile buttons. The little brown tactile's are for the various functions of Flex/and or t0pfire installs
