Hey, I was just wondering, recently on ebay i bought some LED lights from Hong Kong. Now the "China" part is not what worries me, it is the fact that most LED's are about .50-1.00 a piece, but I bought 100 of them for 2.56 cents. Do you think they will work correctly; My thoughts were even if they didn't work i'm not in the hole much, and if they do work then HELL YEA!! If they are real you can thank me for the url later

It's legit, quality may be questionable, and they will take forever to get through hong kong customs...

Yea, the estimated delivery time is about 1 month. (December 15)

I'd give it a little more time than that, last time I ordered LEDs from china it took 2 months to get them... I canceled my order and then they showed up the next day...

yeahp!! its going to take a while to get there  :laughing: i have bought from similar sellers and they usually take about 1-2 months.

Amazing thing just happened. They are here, and working fine too. (metal is a little cheap though)
I suggest that you get some. The only problem is that i got the 5mm. I did not know how big they were. Is it possible to grind the glass around the led?

Yeah. I do it all the time. Sandpaper does a fine job.

an led's case is like dried up epoxy/superglue ;)

Thanks fookz, now i don't have to worry about messing them up. This just brought an idea though. Has anyone done a diamond cut on the led's glass/epoxy/superglue. Mainly to angle the light into a pattern.

Get my leds from China all the time, for modding i would recommend 3mm tho

also if you get the defused LED's they creat a more smoother shine instead of a dot
